Research on "Italian Mogadiscio"

https://researchomnia.blogspot.com/2017/12/italian-mogadiscio.html

The above is the translation (with my notes) of a related research done for the Italian "Universita' di Genova" in 1979 by B. D'Ambrosio and published initially in Italian language by the university's "Istituto di Geografia", under the supervision of the Institute Director prof. Giuliani Balestrino.

In the more than sixty years of Italian rule, the city grew from a small village of just 1,500 inhabitants in the early 1880s to a vibrant capital of nearly 150,000 mogadiscians after WW2 in the late 1940s.

Research on "Italian Corsica"

https://mynewbestarticles.blogspot.com/2019/05/history-of-italian-irredentism-in.html

The above  essay  is a partial translation of an essay written by Giulio Vignoli, professor of the University of Genova (Italy) about the "sad" history of the Italian irredentism in Corsica. As we all know this island has always been a region of Italy, being located at a very small distance from Rome and being always populated by Italian people. Only in the last two centuries France has occupied the island and has created a process of "francization" and "deitalianization" that is at the roots of the creation in Italy of the Irredentism movement in the XIX century.
